Last Saturday had a value play in the opener 7-1 that came through for us BETTOR ROLL ON with RANDALL/HARMON. Let’s try to get another value this week to start things off. Race #1 - 5-3-4-6 Upset Special #5 LUCKY SPORT Had him last week as a top play and ran 2nd to the 1/9 favorite but should have won. He went to the lead but the #3 horse with Luke Hanners kept pressing the issue up front and wouldn’t take the pocket trip and then backed up at down 3/16th pole so Lucky Sport was jammed up and the big favorite took control and couldn’t catch him. He will need to deal with another big favorite this week with the #3 horse, they could be 3/5 or less in this race so this is where we get good value. I think LUCKY SPORT needs to fire out this week like previous week and try to go wire to wire which should have happened last week, plus guess what? Luke Hanners isn’t in the race so we should be good to go!

Race #6 - 3-2-6-1: Best Bet #3 BELMONT MAJOR N Loves racing at Saratoga, hasn’t been here in a month, back from Yonkers and Plainridge. Throw that race out last week at Plainridge, was way up in class had an outside post should be ready to roll tonight.
Race #7 - 1-5-2-3 Value Play #1 TALKING TOM Past two weeks had the 7 hole and ran 2nd both times, draws the rail up in class a little, I think will get a pocket ride from the big favorite in the race #5 BLACK EDITION N and become the pocket rocket.
Race #8 - 1-5-3-6
Race #9 - 3-6-7-1
Race #10 - 4-3-6-1 : 2nd Best Bet #4 COALFORD BET ALINE Class relief here coming in from Pocono Downs and Plainridge. Two races ago was up in class, had post 7 at Plainridge, almost went wire to wire at a big price. Well spotted here I think Best Bet.
Race #11 - 4-1-2-3 Best Longshot #4 ROCK ON TOMMY We get a big price in the night cap 15-1 morning line and should go higher by post time. Last race was horrible, had no shot, go back to the race two weeks ago finished 2nd at 13-1 was flying late, that’s what I think is going to happen here. None of these horses like to win at all so it’s a wide open race. The #1 horse makes the lead every week and will go slow fractions up front and tires every week. If JIM DEVAUX can get some cover behind a horse first up, could swoop this group at a huge price!
